Two of our Italian member firms, Studio Corno (Milan) and Magagnoli & Associati (Bologna), made the most of Expo Milano 2015 by inviting their clients to attend the international exhibition as well as a networking event at Studio Corno’s nearby training centre.

Expo Milano 2015 was the latest in a long line of world exhibitions dating back to 1851. Each Expo takes place in a different major world city and covers a particular theme. Expo 2015 showcased 145 nations and numerous international organisations and attracted more than 20 million visitors over a six month period.

As part of the specially arranged programme, 35 guests of our member firms, representing various industrial sectors, were given the opportunity to mingle and enjoy a tour of some of the Expo pavilions.

During the networking event, a variety of guest speakers from Italian companies and organisations provided valuable insights into some of the main challenges and opportunities for companies today, including globalisation and digitalisation.

Studio Corno managing partner Fabio Corno commented: “Based on our positive experience at Expo 2015, we are convinced of the great value provided by networking opportunities involving clients of Russell Bedford member firms. As a direct result of this event, a client of Magagnoli & Associati has awarded two assignments to our fellow members in other international locations, and the same client has become a supporting partner of a university programme that we organise.”
